Our Story
Steps of Joy was named by taking the initials of its creators' name, Samantha and Jacob. Samantha Kordus plays club volleyball at NC Volleyball Academy and varsity volleyball at Cary Academy. Prior to her volleyball journey, Samantha was an accomplished table tennis player, holding a 2023 girls doubles national title. She is also a creative writer. Jacob Kordus is a member of the USA Table Tennis junior national team. He is a pianist and violinist.
